Forensic science was part of the Science Experiments originally. It’s practical, interesting and very engaging so we set up this Forensic Investigators dedicated for kids interested not only in science but also in forensics and law.
Lighthouse Camps’ Forensics Investigator starts with the intro of forensic science, and then campers get chances to analyze evidence like fingerprint, tire track, soil sampling, footprint, and handwriting. Later on we will move on to crime scene scenarios, including interrogating suspects and applying the skills learnt from previous classes to investigate the crime scene. At the end of the camp, campers will do a presentation of projects and camp wrap-up.

鑑識科學本來是科學實驗的主題之一，綜合了法學與科學的觀念，加上實務的故事性引導，深受孩子與家長們的喜愛，因此特別拉出來設立成獨立的營隊項目 – 法醫偵探團。
鑑識科學所需要的分析資訊、蒐集證據、邏輯推理等技巧，是所有學習的基礎。而面對鐵如山的證據，該怎麼解讀與應用，需要批判性、獨立思考與解決問題的能力。不僅僅可應用在未來學習法律或是科學，這些能力在各項學習，甚至是孩子未來的人生都很受用。
更重要的是能激發對科學與科技的興趣，透過這種有故事帶入、實務性的實作，讓很多原本對"科學"很反感的孩子，重新獲得對科學的熱情!
