👉Before Starting Study Ahead Program
Zach, who is 5 years old, studies at a bilingual kindergarten. Even though there are English classes in kindergarten, Zach still feels shy when speaking in English. Last winter break, Zach's mother registered for our coding winter camp. This was Zach's first introduction to coding. Zach's mother was curious to know how a 5 years old kid can learn how to code, plus the course was taught in English. 👉Why Lighthouse Camps? Zach's mother thought learning a new content as well as strengthening English oral ability at the same time was a fantastic idea. According to Zach's mother, she said that Zach was excited to come to the winter camp every day. As a result, Zach was always the first one that showed up every day. Although the camp only lasted for 5 days, we could feel Zach's joy and enthusiasm every single day. When the camp ended, Zach's mother insisted on letting Zach continue to attend our camp. A large part of the reason is due to the fact that Zach enjoyed the camp tremendously, which in turn spiked his interest in learning English. 👉The Results Zach's mother wanted Zach to continue learning English after school while maintaining a high level of interest. In February 2019, Zach joined the "Study Ahead" program and began learning phonics. Yesterday was Zach's 57th lesson. We chatted with Zach's mother yesterday and she said: "Zach can now read long vocabularies on his own, and he can sometimes point out my mistake when it comes to pronunciation.” Ever since he attended this course, he began liking to read English books, and can start to recognize more vocabularies. 👉Mother's feedback Zach's mother is happy that her son enjoys learning English so much. On top of it all, Zach can now use more vocabularies to form sentences. In the beginning, Zach wished to study with other kids, but we found out that he learns better on his own. That is because the teacher can give him more attention, and be more focused on his progress.

Zach’s parents made the right decision to let Lighthouse Camps help their kid! I am sure that Lighthouse Camps will provided nothing but a good quality of education to Zach. I am happy that many of the students you helped with their education have good words from you. Perhaps, it is because the camp teaches their children not just the basic stuff, but the right attitude too on teaching their students. As we all know, that is really important!
