It’s about time to apply to summer programs overseas.
Lots of secondary schools or universities/ colleges in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and other countries offer different types of summer programs for teenaged students or even younger ones. Here we listed different types of programs and advantages of participating in summer programs.
It’d be best to apply by March as most of the deadlines fall in March or April. Moreover, the competitive/ popular ones, like Andover, Phillips Exeter, Stanford or Harvard, might be full as early as February.

一直以來，多數相關研究主張孩子打電玩會導致心理層面的問題。但根據美國National Institutes of Health (NHI)的一項最新研究發現，與完全不玩電玩的9-10孩子比較，每天玩三小時以上電動的孩子，認知功能表現更快又更精準。甚至在功能性磁振造影(fMRI)檢測下，腦部運作模式也不一樣。
這項研究還需要更長時間的追蹤，才能確實了解打電玩對孩子或是對人類的幫助會是損害，這項研究的結論，確實與普世"打電玩對孩子身心不好"看法有出入。
