Is your child always coming up with new game ideas or tweaking the rules to their favorite board games? It’s time to take that creativity to the next level!
In this exciting 5-day unplugged game design camp, students will go from players to creators—learning how to brainstorm, prototype, test, and refine their very own original board game. Using both craft materials and tools like Canva, they’ll explore how rules and mechanics shape gameplay and how great games balance fun and strategy.
At the end of the week, campers will showcase their creations and walk away with a playable prototype and the confidence to keep designing!

Course Structure 課程內容
Day 1 – Game On! Introduction & Brainstorming Understand what makes a board game fun and begin developing your own game concept.
Day 2 – Mechanics & First Draft Design Build your rule system and plan the overall gameplay, including how players interact and win.
Day 3 – Prototyping & Playtesting Round 1 Build and test a rough version of your game. Gather feedback to improve it.
Day 4 – Revisions & Final Prototyping Refine your game based on feedback and prepare the final version for presentation.
Day 5 – Game Showcase & Presentation Day! Share and celebrate your creation with classmates and families!
