"Teaching here has been incredibly rewarding - to have a front seat view of kids differentiating left from right to programming the Beebot through a complex self-designed maze is amazing. I also enjoyed working with each child individually to develop their Scratch Junior projects: these were projects that showcased the skills they've learned during the camp and allowed their personalities to shine through! On the other hand, teaching older kids taught me classroom management skills, patience, and the value of having fun together while being an instructor. I hope attending the coding camp was a valuable learning experience for the kids as much as it was for me!"
